- Functional/Technical Tax Responsibilities
・Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding clients’ tax treatment, account structure and servicing needs
・Maintains reference materials, as appropriate, in support of clients’ needs and our differentiation efforts
・Has a comprehensive understanding of tax rate information from an operational perspective
・Ensures clients are treated and serviced appropriately based upon client type, client treaty entitlement, and tax documentation requirements
・Participates in tax market research meetings to ensure operational impact to all tax issues are being discussed and acted upon
・Reviews documentation requirements / status from a client and market perspective to satisfy audit and servicing requirements
・Assists Global Tax Services team with other project related tasks
Client Service
・Communicates tax rate changes to other our departments and external clients through formal and informal documents
・Manages the publishing and editing of Global Tax Services publications
・Assists with the development of tax presentation and client training tools for both internal and external clients
・Assists and coordinates specialized client projects and events
・Ensures client inquiries are handled appropriately
Control and Risk Management
・Identifies and escalates tax related business issues, operational processes, documentation procedures, etc that may result in increased our financial or business risk, and assist in resolution
・Provides statistics as requested to support management reporting
Systems, Technology, and Productivity
・Participates in development of new capabilities, operational processes, systems and initiatives
・Supports testing for any tax related systems and workflow modifications
Collaboration and Cross Training
・Participates in training new staff.
・Works with other Global Tax Services internal groups to become more familiar with their requirements to assist those groups when the demand requires - 必要経験
- ・BA/BS degree, and /or equivalent work experience
・Minimum 3 years financial services industry experience; tax related experience preferred
・Strong ability to take initiative and work in a team-oriented environment
・Detail oriented and strong attention to quality service
・Demonstrated Organizational skills
・Business level oral and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
・Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
・Strong interpersonal skills
・Ability to work under pressure - 予定勤務地
