- 1. Position Purpose
The Finance Manager is a key role, the go-to person for finance matters related to Enterprise Accounts in Japan. He/She also supports the development of finance & operations platform capabilities in Japan, led by the CBRE country finance team and Enterprise Accounts Leadership.
The Finance Manager is focused on driving commercial value growth of the Enterprise Accounts business in Japan. This role will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the wider APAC organisation for all country specific commercial finance topics related to Japan. Key focus also lies in providing insightful analysis to drive margin generation across client accounts, growing new business revenue streams.
The Finance Manager reports to the Finance Director and will play a pivotal role in building a cohesive finance community spirit and be involved in the development of internal finance talents as well.
Potential career paths include progressing to become a Senior Finance Manager and being responsible for team leadership and management.
2. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Finance Business Partnering
・Provide commercial insights to grow Japan EA business: Working closely with EA Japan leadership and Group/Segment FP&A teams to derive insights and develop models
・Participate in Financial Review meetings with the Business to identify and investigate risks, issues and opportunities and agree interventions
・Support senior management on decisions pertaining to improving performance, minimizing risk or capturing new opportunities
・Support & coordinate dedicated account teams for all CBRE corporate finance matters & processes (Budgeting, forecasting, P&L & balance sheet management)
Commercial Business Support
・Accountable for OPEX resource allocation analysis, business case governance and post implementation reviews to strengthen strategic decision making
•Support the resolution of business challenges if & when they arise, in coordination with Regional/Global account leadership
•Provide financial and commercial advice to Japan EA leadership
Market Subject Matter Expert (SME)
・Develop & maintain in-depth knowledge of Japan market, and share with broader APAC teams as well as global leadership teams
・Act as first point of contact for all GWS EA finance related matters in Japan, and maintain strong relationship with Local Business (LFM) teams as well as the Country Finance Controllership function and the Regional EA teams
Financial platform capabilities
・Develop an “Acts of service” culture, aiming at enhancing dedicated accounts teams’ ability to outperform business & financial objectives
・Support & lead - whenever required - the enhancement of financial capabilities for Enterprise Accounts & finance teams in-country
・Drive CBRE corporate processes improvement projects
People
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across accounts and between CBRE’s platform and accounts - 必要経験
- Experience:
・Expected 5+ years relevant finance/accounting/FP&A experience
・Experience driving financial performance in a business.
・Experience of planning and forecasting financial performance within a multi-national organisation
