仕事内容
This position functions as both a market expert and client advocate in performing their tasks. They work with local market entities to understand and the rationale for, the requirements in the approval and/or account opening processes and where appropriate, effect changes to streamline and improve the requirements for clients. He/She supports the communication, coordination and delivery of Registration technical knowledge and our company's global Registration services to clients. He/She communicates with client servicing groups and external clients in disseminating the requirements and managing the process through to completion. He/She works closely with the Network Regional Teams in identifying market changes that affect the investment approval and account opening processes, including the addition of new countries that may require documentation for nonresident investors. This job requires a comprehensive understanding our Asia clients, client needs, Registration services applicable to clients.

Responsibilities:
Foreign Investor Registration:
- Acquire and assimilate knowledge of the market’s regulatory environment, investor approval, and account opening process for assigned countries.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the local subcustodian requirements in assigned markets as well as the implications and consequences if requirements and/or processes are not provided. Escalate issues to management (globally and locally) and/or client as appropriate to ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Monitor developments that impact foreign investor registration in assigned countries, including the maintenance of procedural changes in the database and Registration Kits.

Client Service:
- Clearly articulate the procedures and requirements to our client servicing groups and external clients.
- Facilitate the approval and/or account opening process with clients by offering guidance on the requirements, reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy, submitting to the local market, and following progress through to timely completion.     
- Update database to accurately reflect the current status of all processes in progress.
- Proactively follow pending approvals and account openings to ensure timely completion, resulting in client excellence.
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality of monthly client reporting.
- Cultivate and develop excellent client relationships through informative, proactive communications on the foreign investor registration and documentation processes.

Productivity/Process Management:
- Seek opportunities for, and implement operational efficiencies that increase productivity and/or streamline the documentation requirements/processes.
- Ensure adherence to all established procedures and controls.
必要経験
- BS/BA degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years global custody experience.      
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven track record of taking initiative.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, both in Japanese and in English
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, multi-task and prioritization skills required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment.
- Technical proficiency in internal and/or web based systems is a plus
- Willingness to alter work schedule, when necessary.
